Achieve 100% Rehabilitation!

Combine ColdCure Technology® and
Blood Flow Stimulation Therapy

We've all experienced it - whether you were running, jumping, or just walking - the agony of a twisted ankle. Rolling your ankle over is not only painful, it can linger, leaving your ankle weak and more susceptible to re-injury.

Inversion sprains as the most common type of ankle sprain

The most common ankle sprain, the inversion sprain, occurs when you roll your foot inwards putting immense pressure on the tight fibrous tendons and ligaments on the outside of your ankle that connect the bone tissues in your ankle and feet.

It is likely that you have only stretched the tendons and/or ligaments. While this can be excrutiating, it is important to keep in mind that with proper treatment, you can recover fully and get back to your active lifestyle!

Upon spraining your ankle, you will experience sharp, localized pain that may persist for a few days, but should gradually subside and become more bearable.

In these initial stages, it is important to reduce the swelling and control the pain as much as possible. Cold Compression Therapy is a tried and true treatment for sprains. The best way to heal is to reduce the amount of damage that is occurs from the sprain. Cold Compression Therapy does exactly that. If applied as quickly as possible following a sprain and intermittantly for 48-72 hours following the injury it reduces the amount of damage and healing time required.

Inversion sprains as the most common type of ankle sprain

When treating an ankle sprain, it is important for the injured ligaments to fully heal. Repeated mild sprains lead to thickening of the ligaments and irritation of the ankle joint. Recurring ankle sprains, caused by a progressive weakening of the ligaments, can lead to a chronic condition called 'ankle instability'.

Re-injury also means longer healing time and increased scar tissue build-up in your ankle. Scar tissue is hard, inflexible, and tough to get rid of. The more scar tissue that develops, the more you lose the range of motion for that ankle. As scar tissue develops, it's likely you will experience chronic pain or arthritis and your ankle won't perform as well as it once did leaving it prone to injury again and again.

Using Blood Flow Stimulation Therapy, or BFST®, to treat your ankle sprain will further reduce your pain in the ankle. This will help you regain flexibility and range of motion in your joint. Blood Flow Stimulation Therapy nourishes the soft tissue in your ankle making your tendons and ligaments even stronger while healing them faster. I was back on the trails, running again on the 8th day!

My name is Bridget, and I am the one that received the Inferno Wrap that Doug purchased. I had stepped off of my front steps early on Halloween day, I missed the entire bottom step somehow.... and seriously rolled my ankle. I am a avid runner and try to get somewhere between 25-40 miles in a week depending on what I am training for at the time.

My ankle swelled like a balloon and stayed that way for 2 solid months! I was unable to run, and believe me I tried. I could barely even walk. I was unable to go to the Dr. because of some insurance issues that were being delt with, so I got on the Internet and started doing some research to see what I could do...

That is when I came across your web site. I am not gonna lie, I didn't believe it. I thought it all sounded to good to be true. I actually thought about it for a week before I decided to give it a try, the $ back guarantee is what the deciding factor was for me.

OMG!!! I have nothing but praise for your product! It is an amazing thing, it only took 1 week for the swelling to go down and stay down! I was back on the trails, running again on the 8th day! I am continuing to use the Inferno Wrap on a regular basis, thank you so much for getting me back out where I belong... running the Trails.

Ankle Injury Treatments

Allowing your ankle to rest is always recommended when you are suffering from a sprain, fracture, tendinitis, bursitis or other ankle injury. During your recovery, you will probably have to modify and/or eliminate any activities that cause pain or discomfort in your ankle until the pain and inflammation settle.

Customer Reviews

Fortunately, there are healing tools that can help treat your ankle injury to reduce pain, swelling and inflammation while speeding up the healing process so you can get back to a life without pain and risk of further injury.

Cold Compression Therapy

Doctors recommend using cold compression as soon as possible following an ankle injury, like a sprain, and after any re-injury. This will reduce pain and swelling and minimize tissue damage that occurs with soft tissue injuries like tendon tears and tendinitis.

Cold Compression
Freezie Wrap® Therapy for your peroneal tendinitis inflammation and pain.

The Ankle/Achilles Freezie Wrap® treats pain and swelling in an effective and convenient way.

The wrap is adjustable which allows you to control the compression to a level that is comfortable for you and the gel packs are chilled in the fridge not the freezer. This eliminates the risk of cryoburn, or 'cold burns', on your skin that can be cause by ice and strandard freezer gel packs.

With ColdCure Technology® Technology of our uniquely designed gel packs, you can also wear the Freezie Wrap® for longer treatments so you can enjoy even more relief from your ankle pain!

How to Order

Cold Compression Therapy works by interrupting and slowing nerve and cell function in the injured area and reducing swelling that can block blood vessels. This is important because once blood vessels are blocked or damaged, they can no longer carry oxygenated blood through your ankle ligaments and tendons and tissue cells begin to break-down. Without cold compression therapy cellular break-down and tissue damage continues as the cells do not get the oxygen they need to survive. By limiting the amount of damage, you also limit the amount of healing that needs to occur. This is a very important step to heal your ankle faster and with less pain!

The deep cooling effect provided by the Ankle/Achilles Freezie Wrap® gives you the fast, effective relief your sore ankle has been looking for!

Blood Flow Stimulation Therapy

Once inflammation has been reduced, nourishing and strengthening the tendon or ligament tissue and surrounding area is recommended.

Ankle Inferno Wrap promotes blood flow to the tendon to speed healing and strengthen the surrounding tissue.

Blood Flow Stimulation Therapy, or BFST®, will speed your recovery and heal your ankle more completely preparing them for strengthening exercises.

BFST® increases the amount of blood that flows naturally to your ankle to nourish your tendons and ligaments, improving elasticity and accelerating the healing process.

Blood Flow Stimulation Therapy treatments increase your body's natural healing power. In addition, the fresh blood flow whisks away dead cells and toxins that have built up from tendonitis and tissue damage leaving the area clean and able to heal faster. Our Ankle/Achilles Inferno Wrap® provides effective, non-invasive, non-addictive pain relief and healing with no side effects.

Continued use of BFST® even after your ankle has healed will help to maintain the health of the ligaments and tendons in your ankle and prepare them for any activities you enjoy.

Dear MendMeShop,

I have been using the Inferno & Freezie Wraps since November,2012. I saw an orthopedic doctor after Thanksgiving and have been going to occupational therapy (3) days per week. I was told by my ortho doctor to continue to use the items that I had purchased from you (I brought them in on my initial visit with him). I am currently using the inferno wrap as soon as I wake up in the morning, then continue to do my daily wrist and arm exercises. I use the freezie wrap when I am finished. While working I use a tennis elbow brace and I am also using it while doing housework or other chores where I am using my arm alot. My arm is improving slowly as I am working (4) days a week as a chef for 12-14 hours per day. My ortho doctor told me that it would take some time to heal completely. I don't see him until the end of February (3 months since initial visit). So far I am seeing improvement in both pain management and flexibility. I believe the combination of therapy sessions and the use of your wrap treatments are the key to a successful treatment plan. I'll keep you informed of my progress. Thanks again for your help and guidance.
