Whiplash TreatmentsTreatments can include a variety of medications and techniques. It's important to obtain an accurate diagnosis from a qualified back and neck specialist to determine the extent of injury sustained before beginning treatment. ![]() Since whiplash usually only causes damage to the soft tissues in the neck, most treatments are centered on reducing the inflammation and supporting the neck muscles during the healing process. Headaches resulting from whiplash are usually treated by efforts to reduce the swelling in the neck using ice packs and other conservative measures (traction, exercises, pain-relieving medications). Initially, ice is applied about every two hours for up to 20 minutes for the first day. Gel packs are a better option than frozen peas if possible, as they mold to your neck/back and are reusable. Our cold compression neck wrap is perfect for stabilizing those neck muscles and reducing inflammation simultaneously.
| Dear MendMeShop, A few months ago my tennis elbow started to flare up again. I have gone to physical therapy for ultrasound treatments in the past and they worked. I'm not in a position right now to go to physical therapy, so thought I would just have to ride it out until I could get there. Then I came across this website and thought I'd give the Ultrasound Pain Therapy System a try. I'm glad I did. The pain has started to subside and I don't have to spend my money going to the physical therapist! I have friends who have tried my system as well and they are amazed at the results. I would recommend it to anyone. Thank you MendMeShop!! Jean, WA Rating: Jean Perkins ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | ||||
