Thank you for spending time answering my questions and concerns on the Knee Inferno Wrap and wrist products and how to use them. I appreciate that, and I am impressed with your company's personal availability to personally talk with customers. In a fast pace, seemingly no care, 'all out for my benefit' mentality in our society it is refreshing to know I can go on-line and there are people doing business who do care for their product and the people buying them.
I went on-line to find help in treating my very painful meniscus and other issues Arthroscopic surgery on my right knee, that were more severe that my left knee issues had been, so I could find help in speeding up my recovery and get back on my feet again. Having had the same surgery on my left knee only 6 months prior, I was not able to recover as fast as my left knee had not yet fully recovered enough to take the full load of both knees. The Dr. said nothing about recovery only that I could not even put toe weight on my right knee for 4 weeks. So, with my left knee still in recovery this made life extremely difficult. So much so, I had to go to a wheel chair so I would not ruin either of my knees or my back which is suffering from degenerative discs. My knee issues stem from aging and over-use over the years. They are just wearing out.

I read all your info and was impressed with what I read and felt comfortable that you were genuine and were out to help me fully recover. The fully guaranteed refund was a plus to me so that I would not spend a lot lf money for something that I would be stuck with and as well did me no good.
You also had a personal way to contact your company to discuss any concerns I might have in using it. You also had expedited mailing so that I could have your product in a few days so I could get started in my recovery. I was willing to pay the extra mailing cost to get the product faster. You really came through on your end and I had my Inferno Knee Wrap in just a few days. That really firmed up to me that you back up your claims about your product and that you truly cared about me and so I could get onto faster recovery sooner.
After receiving the Inferno Knee Wrap, I was having personal issues in how often to use the Knee Wrap and so I called you to help me with this. I felt that the knee wrap was helping me, but I was finding that I could not use it to the fullest degree the instructions mentioned. You helped me and told me to call you back. From your recommendations, I started experimenting on my own to see what would work for me and I found a workable solution for me personally. Each person is unique and what works for one person may not work for another. So, I recommend not giving up and returning this product until you find what works for you.
Because my knee issues are so severe, it will take longer than I want it to, but I am plugging away and using the Inferno Knee Wrap along with stationery bike exercise and I am seeing progress each day.

Over the past eight months I have been suffering from shoulder and arm pain. I just kept thinking that the pain would go away on its own. When I reached the point where I was unable to raise my arm over my head without assistance and forget about putting my arm behind my back. I decided that a trip to the doctor was due. She ruled out that I had an injury to the Rotator Cuff itself and determined that I had a soft tissue injury. Due to repetitive movement and heavy lifting. She suggested that I try physical therapy. With my work schedule and family obligations I knew that was going to be very difficult and I wanted something that I could fit into my schedule. So I began doing research on the internet for alternative treatments and exercises. That's when I found your product on the internet. I was somewhat skeptical as to rather it would perform as stated, but decided to give it a try. It was stated that it could take up to three weeks to feel results. BUT I am here to say that for myself it has done better. I have been using the Freezie Wrap for a week and have already felt some improvement. I can now raise my arm to just about shoulder height unassisted, and can now almost get my finger tips back behind my back. I make a point of using Freeze Wrap as soon as I get home from work to relieve the stress to my muscles from work and to keep the inflammation down. I constantly use the Leg Inferno Wrap for my thigh and hamstring pain......love walking/running. It's great for shin splints.... feels good when muscle gets hot. Iliopsoas Bursitis Symptoms

The symptoms you experience with iliopsoas tendinitis, iliopsoas bursitis, or iliopsoas syndrome are all similar. These symptoms include pain, tenderness, swelling, heat or redness, and loss of normal mobility.

Weakness

You may also experience weakness in your upper thigh/hip area especially when lifting up your knee which results in a limp when walking or running.

Pain and tenderness are the most common symptoms and are experienced with iliopsoas tendonitis and/or bursitis. This is found deep in your groin and radiates around to the front of your hip or upper thigh area, and can follow the length of the tendon down toward your knee. Pain will often move into your lower back and buttock area as well. This pain can be experienced in each location or all at one time; it can also be on one side or both sides of your body.

Often the reason for the pain is known, however sometimes there may be no major reason or injury that brings it on. If you have iliopsoas tendinitis and/or bursitis you will experience a slow onset of pain and tenderness that builds up over a long period of time. If you have iliopsoas syndrome, your pain and tenderness will be sudden and sharp. Pain will generally be experienced for a short period of time during vigorous activities like jogging or kicking a ball with your instep, as well as more passive activities such as getting up from a seated position, extending your leg while driving, walking up stairs, lifting something heavy or bringing your knee up to your chest (especially against resistance). You will often find it difficult to lie down comfortably without support. Occasionally pain diminishes while in use, but it returns with a vengeance when you stop your activity.

Stiffness, Swelling, and Crepitus

Hip stiffness and tightness in the groin, as well as the knee, can result from a tight iliopsoas muscle. Swelling and increased amounts of fluid in the bursa are often apparent with iliopsoas bursitis. This may be accompanied by redness and warmth in the groin.

Crepitus (clicking, snapping and/or popping hip sounds) may occur, especially with an inflamed iliopsoas bursa or snapping hip syndrome (caused by your iliopsoas tendon catching on your pelvis when your hip is flexed). This will also occur with a severe or complete iliopsoas tear. If you have a complete tear it will generally prevent you from walking upstairs.

This is up to your discretion; however any continued discomfort in your groin or pelvis area should be investigated.If you experience any of the symptoms noted below it is recommended that you seek immediate attention:

  • Severe pain and tenderness.
  • Problems or swelling in or around the genitalia (penis, scrotum, testicles).
  • A cut, lump or bulge or bleeding in your groin area.
  • Major hip/thigh movement problems causing a severe limp.
  • Urinary problem.
  • A groin rash.
  • Postoperative problem after groin operation.
  • Exposure to an STD.
  • Groin pain has not improved after 1 week, where symptoms are more severe or frequent.
  • Signs of shock (lightheadedness, restlessness, shallow breathing, sweating, weakness, nausea.)

Hip Bursitis Treatments

Relieving the symptoms of bursitis initially focuses on keeping the pressure off the bursa. Surgery may be required if your bursa irritation is a result of a bone formation problem, such as a bone spur. If your bursitis is caused by an infection (septic bursitis), the doctor will probably drain the bursa sac with a needle and prescribe antibiotics to treat the infection. For non-infectious bursitis, the preliminary treatment starts with non-operative options such as cold therapy.

Iliopsoas bursitis treatment includes resting the hip.

The most important factor in healing bursitis is resting your hip. This can be difficult when you have to carry on with daily activities, but resting whenever you can is recommended. During your recovery you will probably have to modify or avoid the activities that stress your bursa until your pain and inflammation settle.

Treatments should involve decreasing swelling, relieving stress on the hip joint, correcting any biomechanical dysfunction (uneven leg length, bone spur, etc.), treating scar tissue, and then restoring strength and movement in your leg and hip. Anti-Inflammatory Medications

NSAIDs, non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, can be used if required to help manage your pain. However, these aren't recommended for long term use, as they can cause gastrointestinal difficulties and increase the risk of cardiovascular disease. The use of cold therapy and BFST® in conjunction with NSAIDs can greatly improve the effect of this medication and can help to heal quicker.

Surgical Procedures

Your doctor may aspirate your inflamed bursa. This involves removing the extra fluid that has built up with a needle. Sometimes, the fluid will be tested at a laboratory to rule out infection.

Many hip conditions are treated with arthroscopic surgery; bursitis, tendinitis, iliopsoas tendon tear, labral tear repair, cartilage trimming, snapping hip syndrome, and trimming bone spurs.

If your bursitis does not get better with conservative treatments, the bursa may be surgically removed. Usually this is done by hip arthroscopy, which is a surgical procedure where tiny incisions are made and a pencil-sized camera is inserted into the hip. A small shaver is inserted into another incision, and is used to remove the swollen bursa all together. The surgeon will then look for any damage to the hip and make repairs if necessary. This is also done to remove any bone spurs.

Recovery time for the surgery will depend on a number of different factors including your healing ability, diet, rest and how many procedures were done in your surgery.

Post-op recovery time can be reduced with the use of cold compression and blood flow stimulation therapy following surgery. Cold compression is recommend by doctors following surgery to treat your pain in a natural, non-addictive way and to reduce swelling. Once the incision has healed, speak with your doctor about the use of cold compression therapy and BFST®. Rehabiliation Exercise

The type of physical therapy and the duration will be dependent on the tissue damage and your symptoms. When you are treating or recovering from bursitis, it is important to ensure you do not perform any exercises that will further irritate the bursa.

BFST used in conjuction with physical therapy can speed recovery and heal you more completely.

Once your pain starts to diminish, a physiotherapist will set up an individualized strengthening and stretching exercise program for you to perform at home or in the gym. This will be based on your needs and abilities, and will help you return to performing your normal routines.

Individuals will often lift weights on their own, to try and build up their strength. However, in doing so, they can do more damage to their joint. It is extremely important to strengthen your muscles properly, as they may have weakened during the period of non-use. A trained therapist will help to ensure your rehabilitation process is appropriate and effective. For best, long term results use BFST in conjunction with physical therapy and an exercise program.
