Groin Disruption SymptomsIf you have a Groin Disruption there are often no obvious external symptoms or signs. ![]() However, you generally experience a deep or sharp pain and discomfort from your lower abdomen and pelvis to your urogenital and groin area (your lower stomach muscles around to your pubic bone and under to the bottom of your body between your legs) especially with sudden movements or when exerting yourself in activities that involve kicking, twisting, side-stepping, sprinting, and lifting. Some people experience testicular pain as well. Activities that increase intra-abdominal pressure like resistance sit-ups, coughing or sneezing can aggravate the pain. You will often feel pain and tenderness on one side of the abdomen or groin near the pubic tubercle (bump), which radiates into the genital area, and can move down into the hip and/or inner thigh area. This pain and accompanying stiffness can be experienced during or after activities, and can last for hours or weeks. You may find it difficult to get out of your car a few hours after your activity and/or find it hard to get out of bed the next morning. Your groin disruption pain will often go away with rest, however it generally returns when you resume the activity. ![]() Weakness in the upper thigh area with adduction (bringing upper leg or hip closer to the centre of your body) can be seen and/or experienced with a groin disruption when running, walking or kicking. Should You Seek Medical Attention? This is up to your discretion; however any continued discomfort in your groin or pelvis area should be investigated. If you continue to experience the groin disruption symptoms noted above and have tried the suggested conservative treatments (see conservative treatments for groin disruption), it is recommended that you seek professional medical attention. If you experience any of the symptoms noted below it is recommended that you seek immediate attention:
BFST™ - Using Your Body's Natural Healing System![]() Your body can heal itself! In fact, your body starts healing itself the moment you are injured and it's the blood in your body that makes it all happen. Your blood is the transport mechanism for everything that is good inside you. It carries oxygen, nutrients, water and antibodies. Proper blood flow is essential to healing. Unfortunately, when you injure your body you stop moving and the swelling sets in. That means your vital blood flow can be reduced to a trickle! If you want to heal quickly, you need to keep your blood moving and that's where Blood Flow Stimulation Therapy™, or BFST™, comes in. Blood Flow Stimulation Therapy™ promotes the flow of blood through the injured area without the need to exercise your already damaged tissue. You can really feel it work. Within moments of applying an Inferno Wrap™ you can feel the healing sensation and the increase in blood flow. During a treatment, and for quite some time after you finish, your injured area will experience increased blood flow even though your body is at rest. It's a soothing sensation and extremely effective. With BFST™ your injury is constantly being fed with healing, nutritious, oxygen and energy filled blood. This is exactly what your body needs to heal. How An Inferno Wrap™ Works
Inferno Wraps™ have been specifically designed for the treatment of deep, soft tissue injury. Inferno Wraps contain a patented Energy Web™ which is flexible and shaped to conform to your body. This Energy Web™ emits a uniform wave of perfectly safe electro-magnetic energy over its entire surface. This energy travels deep inside your body and stimulates the blood flow needed to heal your injury. Our Cold Compression Wraps are recommended as the best by the Mayo Clinic, and countless medical professionals. That's why we sell them, because they are the best. We have noticed over time that our customers are so fond of our cold wraps that they are frequently coming back and ordering a second one - this way they can cool one while wearing the other. The wraps are becoming very popular with baseball and soccer trainers, and the wraps can be conveniently stored in a cooler for quick application on the field when needed. ![]() Ultrasound therapy is also a helpful tool for pain prevention of groin injuries, and having a portable ultrasound device at home can be a powerful and convenient treatment tool. If you have symptoms or are recovering from a groin injury, using ultrasound on a regular basis before your activity or throughout the day will help relax your muscles, tendons and tissues, diminish pain and inflammation, soften scar tissue and contribute greatly to the healing of your injury. If you suffer from mild inflammation or pain after certain activities or movements use ultrasound therapy when you complete the activity and then rest and elevate your area of injury. Limit the application of ultrasound to a couple of treatments per day (the manual will recommend treatment frequency depending upon the injury). In between ultrasound treatments, maximize your pain relief and injury recovery by using an Inferno™ Personal Therapy System. Proven Performance, Proven Relief - only found at MendMeShop.com. If you have been given a treatment plan by your health professional, make sure you adhere to it to ensure pain free living. In general, people who are committed to their therapies and exercises will have the best medical outcomes.
| Dear MendMeShop, I wanted to take a moment to Thank You and to let you know the fantastic success I have had with your Ultrasound! I'VE FOUNDED IT TO BE A REMARKABLE PRODUCT !! After 18 months of knee pain, stiffness, and medical attention, I have gained definite flexibility and increased comfort from using the Ultrasound three times a day. After many years of playing tennis I walked off the court with knee problems that braces could not help. A MRI found complex tearing of the medial meniscus with severe medial arthrosis. Follow-up with orthopedists and cortizone shots provided temporary relief, but I returned to limping within three months. Surgery was recommended but I opted for physical therapy. I was hoping to seek ultrasound treatment through PT as I have had this treatment for a torn tendon in my ankle, the result of a handball injury 20 years ago. I could find no therapists who utilize this treatment in my current central Virginia area. After 60 years of playing sports, strains and pains, yet no surgery, I took to the Internet for a last-ditch effort. My search led me to the Mend Me Shop and this great little wand. In just two weeks I can walk without limping, get in and out of a chair without moaning and I'm certain I will survive without surgery. Yep, I'm hoping to be back on the courts in the spring, maybe I'm not old enough to know better. Anyway, I'm convinced that the ULTRASOUND is an effective, reliable and easy to administer treatment. I would certainly recommend it to others who are experiencing the type to problems that it is recommended to treat. Thanks again for the Ultrasound and to the MendMeShop.
