Dear MendMeShop,

I have used the Hip inferno device for 9 days now. The results so far are great. I have bursitis and have been getting injections which were helping less and less. With your product, the pain has lessened dramatically. The swelling has gone down as well as the tingling and the numbness in my hip. This is remarkable and welcomed relief as I have a vacation planned in 2 weeks and now I can't wait. You spoke to me on the phone about a back product as I have chronic back pain from an L5-S1 Spondylolithesis. I can't remember which but if you can suggest it again I would like to try it. Again Thanks for your concern and your product. It has certainly increased the "Quality of my Life" already. Regards Steve

Heal Your Elbow: Combine ColdCure Technology®, and BFST®!

Your upper arm bone and forearm bones are connected at the elbow joint. The joint is simple but is supported by a complex assembly of muscle, tendon and ligament tissues.

Help your injuried elbow with MendMeShop Therapeutic Products.

These tissues are what enable your elbows movement; allow you to swing a golf club or a tennis racquet. Tennis elbow and golfer's elbow can be an ongoing ordeal that limits even common tasks such as doing the dishes. No one needs the aggravation!

Tennis and golfer's elbow, medically referred to as lateral and medial epicondylitis, are repetitive strain injuries resulting from the overuse of the forearm muscles. What begins to happen is your muscles and tendons become inflamed due to the constant abuse, radiating pain down to your fingers in some cases.

In most circumstances the pain is brought on gradually as the forearm tissues become more irritated through continual use; with tenderness felt in the tendons below your elbow joint.

The biggest concern for those suffering from tennis and/or golfer's elbow is returning to regular activity too soon. Often you will notice a great improvement early on; however the injury may still be present even though pain has subsided.

MendMeShop® Success Stories

The more diligent you are with your treatment and rehabilitation, the faster you will see successful results. The MendMeShop's Portable Pain Therapy System provides you with the tools necessary to relieve the pain of tendonitis and dramatically speed the healing. It provides you with the means to be more than diligent, allowing for a speedy and complete recovery!

The faster and stronger you heal your tendons, the less chance there is for re-injury. The tendons are tough dense tissues that normally receive very little blood flow. This is largely why tendon injuries take so long to heal.

When using Blood Flow Stimulation Therapy the energy waves stimulate blood flow which speeds up healing and clears away the inflammation causing the pain.

Dear MendMeShop,

Thank You! Thank You! Thank You!

I don't play tennis, but I do work in a factory and for years my elbow was just getting worse.

Since my doctor told me I had Tennis Elbow 4 years ago I have suffered incredibly. There were times when I couldn't stand to go to work. I tried all the different creams, pills and braces but none of them helped me much.

Finally I found you. In one week I felt better than I had in ages. By three weeks my pain was all gone and it hasn't been back since. I had forgotten what it's like to live without pain... and it feels wonderful.

Thank You So Much!!!

During recovery, it is most important to eliminate all activities that may further aggravate the tendons in your forearm. Scar tissue will often develop as a result of a tennis elbow or golfer's elbow injury once acute inflammation begins to decrease.

How to Treat Your Elbow Tendon Injury

It is important to treat tendon injuries as soon as possible, as any activity or strain you put on your tendon can re-injure it further.

Scar tissue builds on the tendon as the tears heal. The build up causes pain and inflexibility in the tendon making it less flexible and more prone to further injury.

The trick with any tendon injury is getting it to heal with minimal scar tissue formation. Even with optimum healing, there is always less elasticity in a previously injured tendon. This will cause the tendon to hurt, during exercise and everyday activities. However, if you heal your injury efficiently and quickly, your chance of re-injury later on is much lower than average.

Allowing your elbow to rest is always recommended following injury. Avoid all activities that may have caused the injury or irritation and begin cold compression treatments as soon as possible. Blood Flow Stimulation Therapy (BFST®) promotes blood flow to heal your tendon faster and more completely than any other methods available.

Customer Reviews

Although steroid injections may provide temporary relief from the pain of tendinitis or tendinosis, they should generally be avoided as they weaken the tendon. If you do opt for an injection, doctors usually recommend that you do not participate in strenuous activities for several weeks to reduce the risk of a rupture.

Cold Compression Freezie Wraps®
The Elbow Freezie Wrap treats pain, swelling and inflammation caused by bursitis while reducing tissue damage.

Doctors recommend using cold compression as soon as possible following a tendon injury and re-injury to reduce pain and swelling and minimize tissue damage that occurs with soft tissue injuries like tendon tears.

The Freezie Wraps® allow you to treat your elbow tendon in an effective and convenient way. The wrap is adjustable which allows you to control the compression to a level that is comfortable for you and the gel packs are chilled in the fridge not the freezer. This eliminates the risk of cryoburn, or 'cold burns', on your skin that can be cause by ice and strandard freezer gel packs. You can also wear the Freezie Wrap® for longer treatments so you can enjoy even more relief from your pain!

Cold Compression Therapy works by interrupting and slowing nerve and cell function in the injured area and reducing swelling that can block blood vessels. This is important because once blood vessels are blocked or damaged, they can no longer carry oxygenated blood through the tendon and tissue cells begin to break-down. Without cold compression therapy cellular break-down and tissue damage continues as the cells do not get the oxygen they need to survive. By limiting the amount of damage done to your tendon, you also limit the amount of healing that needs to occur. This is a very important step to heal your tendon faster and with less pain!

The deep cooling effect provided by Freezie Wraps® gives you the fast, effective relief your sore tendon has been looking for!

Blood Flow Stimulation Therapy
The Elbow Inferno Wrap speeds the healing of bursa tissue and the surrounding area.

After the inflammation and swelling is gone you can begin to treat your epicondylitis with Blood Flow Stimulation Therapy, or BFST®. BFST® increases the amount of blood that flows naturally to your elbow tendons to nourish and speed healing.

Tendons naturally receive a limited blood supply and this significantly reduces its natural ability to heal themselves. And when you stop moving because your elbow hurts, your tendons get even less blood flow.

By treating your injury with BFST® you can increase your body's blood supply and increase your body's natural healing power, in a convenient, painless treatment that just feels good!

In addition, the fresh blood flow whisks away dead cells and toxins that have built up from the injury leaving the area clean and able to heal faster. Our Inferno Wraps® provide effective, non-invasive, non-addictive pain relief and healing with no side effects.

Dear MendMeShop,

I spent 7 years in the gym walking one hour and working out. I lost 85 pounds in about 2 years with a lot of hard work and dedication. After I left the gym in 2008 due to it closing I started having problems about a year later. I recently had surgery on my left shoulder on Jan 4th of this year to shave down the bone to leave enough space for my shoulder joint to work. It seemed to be healing slowly, until I probably reinjured it trying to cut down a small tree. I went back to my Orthopedic Surgeon for my follow up and had to have a cortizone shot in June so I could be painfree while on a long awaited vacation. The shot lasted until September and had another shot October 26 with a warning from the Dr that if I couldn't get any better through therapy by Jan 6 2011 I would have to have the full surgery with my tendons and muscles sewn up to the top of my Rotator Cuff. I told him I don't want to go through the pain again, since I can't take pain medication due to my daily med I have to take for PTSD and can't take them both at the same time. So I did some research for the last 2 months and kept coming up with the MendMeShop Left Shoulder Inferno Wrap. I printed all the material and showed it to my OS and he said to try it if I think it will help me. I received it in 2 days last Friday and was out of town overnight. So I didn't get to try it until Saturday night. I tried it wrapped over a sweater with a thermal shirt underneath and the heat went right through and felt like I was at the physical therapist. The next day I did a few 60 minute sessions and I could feel my muscles ache a little bit, but NO PAIN praise God !!! I was buying a large tube of Extra Strength Muscle Rub with 16 % Menthol once a week to bear the pain along with 800 ML of Ibuprofen.Today is Thursday and I haven't had to put any rub on my shoulder since coming home Saturday night. This Inferno Wrap is incredible and is worth every penny. I am on Disability so I can't afford to waste a penny, but this purchase is becoming a lifesaver for me. Sometimes I just unplug from the charger, tuck the little 8 inch connector, then I tighten the wrap to make it a compression support and the heat stays in it for hours and allows me to be able to function a lot less painful since I am left handed also. If I could give it a 10 star rating instead of a 5 star I would. I will keep you all up to date a few times a week as I progress, along with any replies I might receive. Sun Nov 14, 2010 2:51 pm
